Sundance 2011! We had a fantastic time seeing a number of excellent films and documentaries at the Sundance Film Festival. We were able to get a number of locals only tickets that were up in Park City and a few down in Salt Lake. Looking forward to 2012!

Winter at Red Butte Garden. I signed up for photography class this semester to help me improve my photography skills and to help force me to get out and take more pictures. There are many tool and techniques that I have yet to learn and master which is part of the reason why I am taking this class. These are a few pictures that I took earlier today while I was visiting Red Butte Gardens. The garden is open year round and is probably one of my favorite places to photograph. Guster Concert! One of my favorite bands performed tonight in Salt Lake. I love their music and will definitely be seeing them again. Enjoy.

Winter Mountains. Happy New Year. Although it has been below freezing for over a week now, the clouds have cleared away and the beautiful Utah mountains come out in all their glory. The mountains are just amazing. The other evening during sunset I was able to be on the west side of the valley to get a fantastic vantage point to see the the evening colors and mountains. Enjoy.
